Short Guide

Disaster Plants short guide

Hanami (Disaster Plants) is primarily a defensive character in the game. She is a defensive zoner.

She has a passive Hard Shell, which creates a defensive shield that has its own HP reserve (15 HP). The shield has a disadvantage - it can only absorb M1's physical blows. At the same time, Hanami's physical damage is halved.

Her arsenal also includes the very useful move Flower Field, which effectively blocks enemy cursed attacks and doubles her regeneration.

The basic kit of Disaster Plants includes Cursed Bud, which deals damage during enemy attacks, Root Bind, and Rose of Death.

Her ultimate domain, Shining Sea of Glowing Branches, makes her Solar Beam homing and deadly.

Based on experts gaming experience: I can say that almost all of DP attacks have a long range; he is designed to spam abilities with insane hitboxes and retreat, blocking attacks.

Hanami does have weaknesses, such as only having one basic M1 attack. Also, the disadvantage will be the lack of a standard forward jerk, which is essentially replaced by a toad jump.

She struggles against opponents with good speed, physical attacks, and powerful, fast melee attacks. With such opponents, her Hard Shell collapses easily and quickly, due to spam with powerful melee attacks.

Her wooden balls and roots are easy to dodge with standard side dashes, as they have a long launch animation.

When applying Cursed Bud, we recommend that you stop using cursed energy attacks immediately, as you will take damage yourself.
