Ryu Ishigori is a long-range zoner who excels at attacking from mid to far distances. One of the longest-ranged characters in the game.
His Granite Blast will give you the ability to use homing shots.
In the Awakened mode, it has the ability to gain immortality. Immortality is gained after True Cannon actually loses a fight - if his HP drops to 1, he can fight on.
His weakness lies in the Overheat move: when the heat limit is reached, leaves Ryu wide open with long endlag, and leaves the opportunity to use long-range skills for a while.
Some say that True Cannon a spammer or even a "brainless spammer." However, in my gaming experience, all of his spam doesn't differ significantly from the so-called spam of other characters, which doesn't make him stand out in this regard.
Based on experts gaming experience: it's best to use dashes and close the distance when fighting him.
If you're not nooby in JJS, you know that zoners like True Cannon are quite weak in terms of design (speed). Over time, I came across the fact that they are not interesting to play. There are times when they can just slow down the game, slow down the gameplay.
While playing as True Cannon, I noticed that he has incredibly long animations, which are also his weak point, especially compared to other strong characters.
He's also not the strongest character in close combat. His attacks are easily blocked by a regular block.
To secure a victory against him, try to force him into exclusively close-quarters combat, preventing him from creating distance and initiating attacks from afar.
How to defeat immortality - incoming damage consumes the Awakening Bar, as soon as the Bar runs out, he dies.
